Indigo Shibori- Advanced techniques (May 20th 6-730)
Shibori is a Japanese technique of using ties, sewing, blocks and other methods to achieve patterns in cloth. If you are familiar with the shibori method of dyeing, you know that there are techniques that are easier and harder to achieve. In this class we will be focusing on two of the more time intensive shibori methodologies, Nui and miura. If you have taken an indigo shibori class with us at reclaimed before, this is a great way to advance your techniques. If you haven’t taken an indigo shibori class with us, you will still get a lot out of this class.
